DAY 1 – Arrive in Cairo, Transfer to Hotel and Free Time
When you land in Cairo, your tour manager meets you and then escorts you to the 5-star hotel where you will be staying for the first two nights in Egypt. You are assisted with check-in when you arrive and then you tour manager will discuss your itinerary with you and confirm a pick-up time for the following day’s tour in Cairo.
Very few people want to start with sightseeing tours on the day they arrive, so we don’t include any today. Instead, you have the rest of the day to yourself to enjoy as you wish.
DAY 2 – Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and the GEM
Begin your day with a wholesome breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a memorable adventure, ideal for families. Your personal guide will escort you to the Giza Plateau, where you’ll marvel at the majestic Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Take in the splendor of the iconic Sphinx and explore the historic Valley Temple, making this a fascinating experience for all ages.
After your pyramid visit, enjoy a flavorful lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant. Next, head to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, located just 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the pyramid complex. This state-of-the-art archaeological museum is currently open for limited access, allowing visitors to explore its Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial areas, and scenic exterior gardens.
Wrap up the day by returning to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay in Cairo, completing an unforgettable experience designed for families.

DAY 3 – Transfer to Aswan and Aswan Tour
After breakfast your tour manager and driver fetch you and they transfer you to the airport for your flight to Aswan. One of our tour representatives and a driver meet you at the airport in Aswan. You are then taken for a tour in one of our deluxe air-conditioned vehicles.
Start your tour with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, followed by a visit to the giant Unfinished Obelisk, and finally a visit to the enchanting ancient Temple of Philae. After your tour, you are taken to the 5-star hotel where you will be staying for the night.

DAY 4 – Abu Simbel Temples Tour and Cruise Embarkation
As we have said before, when it comes to family tours Egypt is a perfect destination. Today is really going to demonstrate why.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then you will join a small group tour to Abu Simbel to see the breathtaking rock-cut Abu Simbel Temples. Built by pharaoh Ramses II, they are considered masterpieces of Ancient Egypt.
Besides being dedicated to 4 universal gods, they were also built to serve as lasting monuments to Ramses and his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. Both of the gigantic temples were moved to their current location on higher ground in order to save them from the flooding of Lake Nasser.
After your tour at the temples, you are then driven back to Aswan and you are taken to board your 5-star Nile River cruise. Have lunch shortly after boarding, and then enjoy the rest of the day relaxing. This night of our family Egypt tours is spent on the water at Aswan.

DAY 5 – Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples with Overnight at Esna
Enjoy your first breakfast aboard your cruise while sailing to Kom Ombo. On arrival, you head ashore with one of our guides, and you take a slow stroll through the town to see the ancient Kom Ombo twin-temple complex. The temple complex was dedicated to two different gods, Sobek and Horus. Because of this, each half has identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries.
Return to your cruise after visiting the temple and then you sail to Edfu with lunch served along the way. On arrival at Edfu, a traditional horse-drawn carriage will take you for a scenic ride through the town to see the ancient Temple of Horus. This is the most well-preserved ancient temple in all of Egypt. Prepare to be amazed as you step through the entrance a giant statue of Horus towering above you on both sides.
After your tour, you return to the cruise ship and it then sails to Esna. This night of our family tours Egypt packages is spent on the river at Esna.

DAY 6 – Luxor West Bank Sightseeing and Free Afternoon
Enjoy a good breakfast on the river while you sail to Luxor. On arrival, you head ashore on the West Bank with you group and your guide, and you visit Valley of Kings. This is an ancient burial ground that served pharaohs and other royalty during the New Kingdom period. More than 60 ancient rock-cut tombs have been discovered here, including the tomb of King Tutankhamen.
Your tour includes admission to some of the tombs, meaning that you will actually be able to enter some of the tombs. This in itself is an unforgettable experience for people of all ages. As we have said, when it comes to family tours Egypt never disappoints.
After Valley of Kings, you head to the nearby mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Hatshepsut was the only true Egyptian female ruler. Her mortuary temple is considered one of the Incomparable Monuments of Ancient Egypt.
When you are finished at the temple, you start heading back to your cruise, stopping along the way to see the massive Colossi of Memnon.
Enjoy lunch aboard your cruise, and have the rest of the day for yourself. This night of your cruise is spent on the tranquil waters of the Nile at Luxor.

DAY 7 – Cruise Disembarkation, East Bank Tour and Fly to Cairo
Today you check-out and you disembark from your cruise after breakfast, and then you visit Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, both located on the East Bank. After your tour, you are then transferred to Luxor Airport and you board a flight back to Cairo.
On arrival at the airport in Cairo, you are met by your tour manager who will then escort you to your hotel where you will be staying for the last night of your tour. There are no other sightseeing tours today, so once you have checked in at your hotel you will have the rest of the day for yourself.

DAY 8 – Transfer to Airport for Final Departure
If you are traveling as a family, you will by now have discovered that when it comes to family tours Egypt really does deliver on all fronts.
Have breakfast at your hotel, and then at the confirmed time you will check-out, and your tour manager will escort you to the airport in one of our deluxe air-conditioned vehicles. We will assist in any way we can and then we will bid you farewell.
