DAY 1 – Arrive in Egypt for your Cairo City Tour Package

When you arrive at the airport in Cairo your tour manager meets you at the airport, and then he or she accompanies you to your hotel in one of deluxe air-conditioned vehicles. On arrival at your hotel, you will be assisted with check-in and then your tour manager will review your itinerary with you, and also confirm pick-up times for your upcoming tours.

Our 5-day Cairo tours packages don’t include any outing on the first day, so once your tour manager leaves you, you will have the rest of the day to yourself.

DAY 2 – Giza and Saqqara Pyramids Tour

Your guide and one of our drivers will arrive at your hotel at the confirmed time, and then you will drive to Giza to see the legendary Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. Enjoy a fascinating tour of the site and then you will be taken to a good local restaurant for some lunch.

After lunch, you drive to the ancient Saqqara necropolis which is about 40 kilometers from Cairo. Here you will be able to see the famous Step Pyramid that was built by Pharaoh Djoser. This is the first pyramid ever built in Egypt.

Following your visit to Saqqara you will then be driven back to your hotel in Cairo. Once you are back at your hotel, you will have the rest of the day for yourself.

DAY 3 – Visiting the Egyptian Museum and the GEM

Start your day with breakfast before heading to the remarkable New Grand Egyptian Museum, often referred to as the Giza Museum. Situated just 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex, this state-of-the-art archaeological museum is partially open for limited access as it prepares for its grand opening. Visitors can explore select areas, including the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial zones, and the lush exterior gardens.

Following this cultural experience, enjoy lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant. Next, visit the historic Egyptian Museum in Downtown Cairo, located near the iconic Tahrir Square. Discover its impressive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures, a true highlight of any visit. End the day with a return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

DAY 4 – Optional Alexandria Day Tour

There are no pre-scheduled tours on the day of our 5-day Cairo tours packages. Instead, you can have the entire day to yourself, or you can join an optional day tour to Alexandria. If you opt in for this tour, you will leave Cairo with your guide and driver quite early in the morning, and then return in the late afternoon/early evening.

You will also visit a number of attractions while you are in Alexandria, including the city’s famous catacombs, its famous library and an ancient rock-hewn Roman cemetery.

DAY 5 – Our Cairo Tour Packages End

Enjoy one last breakfast at your hotel, and then at the appropriate time your tour manager and driver will pick you up from your hotel and then get you to Cairo International Airport in time for your flight out of Egypt.
