Once you have found one of our Egypt and Jordan Tours that seem right for you, the next step is to make a reservation. This can be done by using the inquiry form displayed alongside all of our tours. Alternatively, reservations can also be made via email, Live Chat, or by calling our toll-free number. One of our trained travel specialists will then send you a detailed copy of your chosen tour itinerary.
After going through your copy of the itinerary, you will need to send us confirmation that you would like to proceed with the reservation. Your next step will be to pay the required deposit. Please note that tour reservations cannot be finalized before we have received your deposit.
Deposits can be paid in installments but reservation can only be finalized when the final installment of your deposit has been received.
REQUESTING ITINERARY AMENDMENTS
As a client, you are welcome to request amendment to you chosen itinerary. However, we ask that clients do so as early as possible. If you have already paid for your tour, or if we have issued you a travel voucher, no additional administrative fees will be charged. This does not apply to flight itineraries because airlines have their own policies regarding this. Furthermore, any requested itinerary changes are subjected to availability.
PAYING FOR YOUR TOUR
Tour reservations are non-binding until such time that your deposit has been received. A minimum deposit of 25% is required for all tours advertised on our site. For tours that take place during the Christmas and New Year holiday period, we require a 50% deposit. All deposits should be paid within 7 days of making a reservation, unless otherwise agreed. Deposits received are deducted from the cost of your tour.
Deposits can be paid with credit cards (Mastercard and Visa only); direct bank transfers, or Western Union money transfers.
Visa and MasterCard Payments
We are required by law to request the following documentation if you choose to pay for your tour with your credit card:
- A good quality photocopy of your passport.
- A good quality photocopy of your credit card, both sides with your signature visible on the card.
- A signed and dated letter of authorization authorizing us to charge your card with the agreed amount. The signature on this letter must match the signature on the credit card.

Payments via Installments
Deposits can now be paid in installments over a period of up to 6 months. Once you have paid your deposit, the outstanding balance for your tour can be paid when you arrive in Egypt. Customers can also pay for their tours in full prior to traveling.
Children younger than 2 years of age travel free, while children between the ages of 2 and 12 are charged 50% of the adult price. Children who are 12 or over are charged the full price. These rates may not apply when booking tours that include flights because airlines may have different policies in place.
At egyptandjordantours.com we know that sometimes cancellations are inevitable for one reason or another. We understand this, but we do ask and advise that you let us know in writing (fax or email) as soon as you possibly can. In the case of a tour being cancelled by the client, the following charges will be applied:
- 40+ days before your tour – 6% of the deposit to recover bank charges.
- 40 – 30 days before your tour – 25% of the full tour price.
- 29 – 15 days before your tour – 50% of the full tour price.
- 14 – 7 days before your tour – 75% of the full tour price.
- Less than 7 days before the start date – 100% of the full tour price.
NOTE: Clients are liable for charges resulting from flight cancellations. If you have booked a tour package that includes flights, and you cancel your reservation after flight tickets have been booked, you will be liable for any and all cancellation fees charged by airline companies.
In the case of refunds, we typically issue payment using the same payment method you used when you paid us. No refund is made in the case of a no-show.
In the event that a government or airline company issues a travel warning against traveling to any of the destinations featured in your chosen tour, we have you covered. If travel warnings result in a cancellation, you will find that egyptandjordantours.com by Memphis Tours has refund policy that is among the most generous in the industry. In most cases, you will be issued with a full refund, while in some cases you will be awarded the equivalent amount of travel credit. This can then be used to pay, in part or in full, for a different tour in any of the destinations that we service.
All tour itineraries clearly show exactly what hotels and cruises are included during your stay. While we make every effort to book our clients into the accommodation choice displayed, we do however reserve the right to use cruises and/or accommodation of a similar quality if we have been left with no other choice. We also reserve the right to increase hotel rates accordingly without prior notice if need be. However, if rates increase after your deposit has been received, you will not be affected by any such increases.
Prices displayed on our itinerary pages include the average cost of any included flights. Flight costs can increase without notice prior to your flights actually being booked. Any changes you request regarding your flights, including departure times can also affect the overall cost of your chosen tour.
While we can help with booking international flights, we highly recommend that clients book their own international flights. If you request us to book your flights, you will need to send us payment before we can book them because airline companies demand full payment at the time booking a flight. Payments can be made using same payments as those used for paying for our tours.
We make every effort to ensure that our clients enjoy a smooth and hassle free travel experience. However, as a tour operator we cannot and do not accept liability for any injuries; illnesses; damages; losses; accidents; delays, or any other such irregularities affecting either people or property that is caused by:
- Severe and/or extreme weather
- Acts of God; acts of governments or other authorities
- Wars and/or civil disturbances
- Labor disputes/strikes
- Mechanical failures
- Quarantines or acts of default
- Cancellations or changes implemented by any hotel owners; carriers or restaurants
DEALING WITH COMPLAINTS
At egyptandjordantours.com, we are travelers too. We know there are times when people have a very valid reason to complain about something. If at any during your tour you feel the need to complain, please get in touch with your assigned tour manager immediately. Alternatively, if your complaint relates to a 3rd-party, such as a hotel or cruise, you might want to lodge your complaint directly with the company in question. In most cases, problems can be addressed quickly amicably.
If you are unhappy with the outcome of your complaint, you can also lodge a complaint with the Egyptian Travel Agent Association.
If you still don’t get a satisfactory result, then we recommend that you lodge your complaint directly with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism in Cairo.
ACCEPTANCE AND AGREEMENT TO TERMS OF SERVICE
When a client has made a reservation and it has been finalized upon receipt of your deposit, it means that the client has accepted our terms of service as laid our above. Both parties are then obligated to honor the agreement.
