5-Day Cairo and Luxor Tours Package

DAY 1 – Arrive in Egypt for your Cairo and Luxor Tours

Your tour manager meets you at the airport in Cairo when you arrive and then escorts you to your hotel in one of our deluxe vehicles. He or she will get you checked in at your hotel and then review your tour itinerary with you. Pick up times for your tours will also be confirmed with you and then you will be left on your own to enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish.

DAY 2 – Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Khan el Khalili

At the confirmed time your guide and one of drivers will fetch you from your hotel and then you will drive to the ancient Giza necropolis to see the famous Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Our 5-day Cairo and Luxor tours package includes entry to the site but it does not include entry tickets for the pyramids. Tickets for going inside the pyramids can be purchased at the site.

After your visit to the pyramids, you are then taken to a good local restaurant for some lunch, after which you will head to the notorious Egyptian Museum in the heart of Cairo. Explore the museum at leisure and then when you are done, you will be taken to spend some time at Cairo’s famous centuries-old Khan el Khalili Bazaar

Once you are ready leave, let your guide know and then you will be driven back to your hotel and then you will have the remainder of the day for yourself.

DAY 3 – Flight to Luxor and Luxor West Bank Tour

Check-out from your hotel after breakfast, and then you will be driven to the airport to board a flight to Luxor for the next leg of your Cairo and Luxor tours package. Another one of our tour representatives will meet you at Luxor Airport and then you will be taken to check-in at your hotel. After you have checked in and dropped off your belongings, you will head out to see three more fantastic ancient attractions.

Your tour today will begin with a visit to the Valley of Kings which is an ancient royal burial ground. More than 60 tombs were discovered here, including the tomb of Ramses VI and the tomb of Tutankhamun which was still sealed and intact when it was discovered.

After visiting Valley of the Kings, you then visit the nearby mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This huge terraced complex is one of the most majestic temples ever built by the ancient Egyptians. Finally, you visit the towering Colossi of Memnon that once guarded the entrance to another ancient terraced temple.

With your West Bank tour now over, you are driven back to your hotel where you will spend this night of your Cairo and Luxor Tours package.

DAY 4 – Luxor East Bank Tour and Return to Cairo

Today you will check-out from your hotel after breakfast and then you will be taken to see the ancient Karnak Temple complex on Luxor’s East Bank. This vast complex was built over a period of more than 2,000 years. By the time expansion stopped, it was the largest place of worship ever built, a record that it still holds even to this day.

After Karnak Temple, you then visit the nearby Luxor Temple which is considered to be one of the most impressive open-air museums in the world. With your tour now over, your guide and driver will transfer you to Luxor Airport where you will board a flight back to Cairo.

When you land in Cairo your tour manager will meet you at the airport and then escort you to your hotel. He or she will get you checked-in and then you will be left to enjoy the remainder of the day as you wish. The last night of your Cairo and Luxor Tours package is spent in your hotel in Cairo.

DAY 5 – Cairo and Luxor Tours Package Ends

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, and then at the appropriate time your tour manager and driver will fetch you and escort you to Cairo International Airport in time for you to board your flight out of Egypt.
