DAY 1 – Arrive in Cairo for your Luxury Cairo and Nebyt Dahabiya Vacation
When you touch down in Cairo, your tour manager meets you at the airport. He or she will give you your Egypt entry visa, and then once you clear immigration you will be escorted to the hotel where you will be staying while you are in Cairo.
You will be assisted with check-in at your hotel and your tour manager will then review you itinerary with you and conform pick-up times for your upcoming tours. After this, you are left to enjoy the first night of your stay as you wish.
DAY 2 – Giza Pyramids and Djoser Step Pyramid Tour
Enjoy breakfast in the rooftop restaurant at your boutique hotel and then your guide and driver will fetch you at the agreed time. You then head to Giza on the outskirts of Cairo to see the infamous Giza Pyramids. At least one or two of the pyramids are usually open to visitors, but you will need to purchase the necessary tickets at the site.
After visiting the pyramids you then visit the Valley Temple and the Sphinx. If you are feeling adventurous or if you want a more traditional experience, you can also take a camel ride from the pyramids to the sphinx.
After your Giza Pyramids tour, you are taken to a good local restaurant for some lunch. When you are finished eating, you then drive to Saqqara to see the famous Step Pyramid of Pharaoh Djozer. This was the very first pyramid ever built by the Ancient Egyptians. It would already have been considered ancient by the time the Great Pyramid at Giza was built.
Following your tour at Saqqara you will then be driven back to your hotel in Cairo.

DAY 3 – Cairo Sightseeing and Transfer to Luxor
Enjoy another good breakfast in your hotel’s restaurant and then your guide and driver will arrive. You will then check-out and you will head to the famous Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in the heart of the city. Enjoy your morning at the museum which is home to more than 100,000 artifacts.
After your museum visit, you then head to a good local restaurant for some lunch. When you are finished your lunch, your guide and driver take you into the heart of Islamic Cairo to spend some time at Cairo’s notorious Khan el Khalili Bazaar.
Open since the 14th century, Khan el Khalili is not only one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East, but also one of the biggest.
Enjoy some time exploring and/or shopping at Khan el Khalili and then you will be taken to the airport to board a flight to Luxor. One of our tour representatives will meet you at the airport and then escort you to your hotel in one of our deluxe air-conditioned vehicles. Once you have checked in, you have the rest of the day to yourself.

DAY 4 – Karnak Temple, Valley of Kings, and Nebyt Dahabiya Cruise to Esna
After breakfast you check-out from your hotel and your guide and driver take you to see the ruins of the ancient Karnak Temple complex. Following your tour, you then head to the West Bank where you visit the famed Valley of the Kings. This is an ancient royal burial ground that was used by pharaohs and other royalty during the New Kingdom era. More than 60 rock-cut tombs have been discovered here, including the tombs of King Tutankhamun and Pharaoh Ramses VI.
Shortly before noon, you are then taken to board the luxurious Nebyt Dahabiya for your cruise. Have a delicious freshly prepared lunch while you sail silently along the Nile to Esna. There are no more tours today so you will have the rest of the day to yourself. Enjoy the first night of your Nebyt Dahabiya Nile cruise on the peaceful waters of the Nile at Esna.

DAY 5 – El Kab Village, El Kab Temple, Edfu and Edfu Temple
Enjoy breakfast while the Nebyt Dahabiya is crossing the Esna Lock before sailing on towards El Kab Village. When you get there you will head ashore with your guide to see El Kab Temple, along with ancient walls and rock-cut tombs from the New Kingdom period. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the village with its many mud brick homes, and then your return to the Nebyt Dahabiya.
Once back on board, enjoy another delicious freshly made lunch while sailing to Edfu. When you reach Edfu, a horse-drawn carriage will be waiting for you. Enjoy a lovely ride through the town on the way to Edfu Temple.
Also known as the Temple of Horus, it is Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple. It dates back to the Greco-Roman period and was dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus. Two giant granite statues of Horus tower above you as you pass through the entrance, the same entrance that once welcomed several of Ancient Egypt’s rulers.
When you are finished at the temple your horse-drawn carriage will then take you back to the Nebyt Dahabiya. With everyone back on board, you then start sailing to Sheikh Rehan Island. Enjoy this night of your Nebyt Dahabiya Nile cruise on the tranquil waters of the Nile near the island.

DAY 6 – Gebel El-Silsela Sightseeing
Enjoy breakfast aboard your luxury Dahabiya while sailing to Gebel El-Silsela. On arrival, visit the ancient Temple of Hormoheb, and enjoy a leisurely hike to the top of the mount to enjoy a truly breathtaking view.
After spending a bit of time on the mount, you then make your way back to your Dahabiya which will then start sailing to Al Bashir Island. Enjoy lunch while sailing silently along the Nile, and a delicious BBQ at the edge of Al Bashir Island shortly after sunset.

DAY 7 – Kom Ombo Temple and Sail to Aswan
Enjoy breakfast on your luxury Dahabiya river yacht while you sail to Kom Ombo. On arrival you head ashore with your guide and you take a leisurely stroll through the town to see the ancient Kom Ombo Temple complex.
Kom Ombo Temple is essentially two temples in one, with both having identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries. The temple complex was dedicated to two different gods. One side was dedicated to Sobek, while the other side was dedicated to Horus.
After visiting the temple, you then head back to the Nebyt for a leisurely cruise to Aswan. Enjoy and dinner at the usual times, and enjoy the last night of your Nebyt Dahabiya Nile cruise on the water at Aswan.

DAY 8 – Return to Cairo for Final Departure
Enjoy one last scrumptious breakfast aboard the Nebyt Dahabiya and then you disembark and we transfer you to Aswan for your flight back to Cairo so you can catch your flight back home.
