DAY 1 – Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour Begins / Arrive in Casablanca
Our 19-day Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tours itinerary begins in Morocco. When you arrive in Casablanca, one of our tour representatives will meet you at the airport. He will then drive you to Rabat where you will check-in at a hotel for the night. He will also review your travel itinerary with you and confirm a pick-up time for the following day. Once you have checked-in, you will have the rest of the day to yourself.
DAY 2 – Rabat to Fez Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and then you will visit Chellah and Kasbah Ouddaya. After this, you will have free time to stroll around in the souks and bazaars in Rabat’s old medina. A bit later in the morning you will visit the well-known Café Maure for Moroccan Tea. Enjoy some traditional mint tea and Moroccan snacks.
After your tea, you will then start driving towards Fez, but there will be a number of stops along the way. Your first stop will be at Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When you arrive, you will meet up with a local guide who will then give you a tour of ruins.
From Volubilis, you will drive to Meknes where you will once again meet up with a local guide who will take for a tour to see some of the city’s main historical sites. After your tour at Meknes, you will continue on to Fez. When you arrive, you will be taken to the hotel where you will be staying for the next two nights.

DAY 3 – Sightseeing Tour in Fez
After breakfast, we fetch you from your hotel and then we take you for a tour of Fez’s top tourist attractions. First we visit the old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the 9th century. This medina is also home to the oldest university in the world.
After spending a bit of time at the medina, we then visit several other attractions. These include Bou-Inania and Attarin Medersa; the tanners; Ess-Seffarine Square; the Moulay Driss Tomb; El-Nejjarine Square and the cabinet makers’ souk. From the souk, we take a slow walk through Mellah, the old Hebrew district.
With the sightseeing finished for the day, we take you to attend a pottery workshop with pottery master. After your workshop, we then visit a nice local restaurant for some lunch. Once you have finished eating, we can either take you back to your hotel or we can leave you to do some exploring on your own.

DAY 4 – Sightseeing Transfer to Marrakech
There are no tours scheduled for this day of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour. Instead, you will check-out from your hotel after breakfast, and then we drive to Marrakech. This is a very pleasant drive that will see us passing through so quaint little villages such as Imouzar and Ifrane. We also make a short stop at Beni Melal. This is one of Morocco’s best-know agricultural centers.
After a short stop at Beni Melal, we then continue on to Marrakech and we get you checked in at the hotel where you will be staying for the next 3 nights of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour.

DAY 5 – Marrakech half-Day Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, we meet you at your hotel, and then we drive to the city’s famous Majorelle Garden. This beautiful living work of art is named after Jacques Majorelle, the French artist who created the garden over a period of many years. When we are finished here, we then visit Menara Garden, and then we visit the Koutobia Mosque. We will also visit the old Jewish Quarter before stopping for some lunch at a nice local restaurant.
After you have finished your lunch, you will board a Koutchi that will take you to Jamaa El Fnaa, the city’s main square. A “Koutchi” is a traditional Moroccan horse-drawn carriage. When you get to Jamaa El Fnaa, you can either return to your hotel, or we can leave you to explore the square on your own. The square is considered by many to be the city’s best tourist attraction.

DAY 6 – Free Day in Marrakech
There are no scheduled tours on this day of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour. Experience has taught us that most visitors to Marrakech like to have some time for exploring the city on their own, so have kept this day free of tours.

DAY 7 – Transfer to Casablanca and Short Casablanca Tour
After breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel and then we drive you to Casablanca. We you arrive, you will be given a short but enjoyable tour. During this tour, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque; the Corniche; the Habous quarters and the Royal Palace (exterior only). When your tour is over, we take you to check-in at the hotel where you will be staying for your last night in Morocco.

DAY 8 – Flight to Cairo, Egypt
At the appropriate time, you will check-out from your hotel in Casablanca and then we will drive you to the airport so that you can catch your flight to Cairo. Your tour manager will meet you at the airport in Cairo, and then take you to your hotel. He or she will get you checked-in and also confirm a pick-up time for the following day’s tour.
There are no tours scheduled for this day of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tours itinerary. Once you have checked-in at the hotel, you will have the rest of the day to yourself.

DAY 9 – Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Khan el Khalili
After breakfast, we fetch you from your hotel, and then we drive to the outskirts of Cairo to see the famous Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Shortly before lunch, we leave the pyramids and we take to a nice local restaurant for some lunch. When you have finish eating, we then drive to the Egyptian Museum in the heart of Cairo.
This museum has tens of thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts on display. While you are at the museum, you will also visit the Treasures Room. The artifacts that were found in Tutankhamen’s tomb are displayed in this room. The museum also has a Mummies Room where you can see real mummies. We don’t include Mummies Room tickets in our Egypt, Jordan, Morocco Tour because some people find it offensive. You can however purchase a ticket at the museum.
After the museum, we then head to the Islamic Quarter to see the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The bazaar dates back to the 14th century and it definitely one of the top Cairo tourist attractions. You will have some time to explore the bazaar and/or do some shopping, and then we drop you back off at your hotel.
NOTE: In the evening you can enjoy an optional Sound and Lights Show at the pyramids. Tickets for the show cost $45 p/person and are not included in the prices of our Egypt, Jordan, Morocco Tour.

DAY 10 – Nile Cruise Embarkation in Luxor and East Bank Tour
After breakfast, we meet you at your hotel, we get you checked-out, and then we take you to the airport so you board your flight to Luxor. One of our tour representatives will meet you at the airport in Luxor and then take you to board your Nile cruise. Shortly after lunch, you will join a small group of our other clients, and you will be taken to see Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple.
Both of these ancient temples are located on Luxor’s East Bank. After the tour, you return to the cruise and then you will have the rest of the day to yourself. Our expert guide who accompanied you to the two temples will also accompany on all your others excursions during your cruise.

DAY 11 – West Bank Tour and Overnight at Edfu
After breakfast, we visit three of the best West Bank sites: Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Many people associate Valley of Kings with the tomb of King Tutankhamen which was discovered here in 1921. However, there are another 61 tombs at this ancient royal cemetery. After Valley of Kings, we visit Hatshepsut Temple, a huge rock-cut complex. From here, we visit the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the cruise.
After lunch, your cruise ship will depart from Luxor and it will sail to Edfu. There are no other excursions on this day of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tours itinerary so you will have the rest of the day to yourself.
NOTE: Early morning hot-air balloon rides are available for those who want to enjoy a spectacular aerial view of Luxor’s ancient temples and tombs. These rides are optional and cost $129 p/person.

DAY 12 – Temple of Horus, Kom Ombo Temple, and Overnight at Aswan
After breakfast today, our guide will accompany you and your group on a visit to Edfu Temple. This is Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple. After your visit, you return to the cruise. When all passengers are back on board it will then start sailing to Kom Ombo. When you get to Kom Ombo you will visit the Kom Ombo Temple complex with your guide. This very unique temple was dedicated to two different gods: Horus and Sobek.
When all passengers are back on the cruise ship it will then sail to Aswan. There are no other tours on this day of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour. Once you depart from Kom Ombo you will have the rest of the day to yourself.

DAY 13 – Aswan Morning Tour
Today your guide will take you to see three different Aswan tourist attractions. Your tour will begin with a visit to the Aswan High Dam. From here, you will visit the ancient stone quarries to see the huge Unfinished Obelisk. After the Obelisk, you will then visit the ancient Temple of Philae that was dedicated to the goddesses Hathor and Isis.
When you are finished at the temple you will return to the cruise ship. There are no other tours today so you will have the rest of the day to yourself.

DAY 14 – Transfer to Cairo by Air
After breakfast you will check-out and disembark from the cruise ship. Our tour representative will then transfer you to the airport and you will catch a flight back to Cairo. Your tour manager will meet you when you arrive and then transfer you to your hotel for your last night in Egypt.

DAY 15 – Fly to Amman, Jordan
Today your tour manager will meet you at your hotel and assist you with check-out. He or she will then escort you to the airport in Cairo so that you can board your flight to Amman in Jordan. One of our tour representatives in Jordan will meet you at the airport in Amman and then transfer you to your hotel. There are no tours scheduled for this day of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour.

DAY 16 – Madaba, Mount Nebo and Dead Sea Tour
Today’s tour begins with a short drive to Madaba to see a stone mosaic map of the Promised Land. This incredible mosaic dates back to the 4th century BC. Located in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, the map consists of more than two million individual stones.
After your visit to Madaba, we drive to Mount Nebo where you will be taken to visit an old monastery. According to the Bible, God appeared to Moses on Mount Nebo and showed him the Promised Land. From here, we drive you to the Dead Sea coast for an afternoon of leisure and relaxation. You will also have the opportunity to go floating on the Dead Sea before we drive you back to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 17 – Jerash, Ajloun Castle and Umm Qais Tour
After breakfast today, we drive you to Jerash to see the ruins of an ancient Roman provincial city. When you reach the site, a specialist local guide will meet you and give you a guided tour of the area. Jerash is one of the top tourist attractions in Jordan. The ruins are also seen as being the best example of ancient Roman architecture outside of Italy.
After Jerash, you will be taken to see Ajloun Castle, a medieval fortress dating back to the 12th century. From here you will drive Umm Qais (Gadara), and then you will be driven back to your hotel in Amman.

DAY 18 – Guided Tour at the Lost City of Petra
Today will no doubt be one of the biggest highlights of your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour package. After breakfast, we fetch you from your hotel, and then we take you to see the famous Lost City of Petra. This is Jordan’s biggest and most famous tourist attraction.
Also known as the Rose City of Petra, it is an entire city that was carved out of the walls of a long, deep and narrow rock gorge. This magnificent rock-cut city was founded by a tribe of nomadic Nabatean Arabs during the 6th century BC.
When you reach the site, a specialist English-speak guide will meet you and then take you on a tour of the site. During your tour, you will visit all the top features of the city, including the Pharaoh’s Castle; the Royal Tombs; the Street of Facades and the magnificent Treasury. Your tour will last from two to three hours, after which you will be driven back to your hotel in Amman.
The drive to Petra takes about 2.5 hours. Your tour also involves quite a bit of walking so we strongly recommend that you wear comfortable and suitable footwear for this tour.

DAY 19 – Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour Ends / Final Departure
Your Morocco, Egypt and Jordan Tour has come to an end. At the appropriate time, our tour representative will meet you at your hotel. He will assist you with check-out and then drive you to Queen Alia International Airport in time for your flight out of Jordan.
