Cairo City Tour – Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Old Cairo Tour
At the confirmed time, your guide and your driver will collect you from your hotel I one of our deluxe air-conditioned vehicles, and then you head to the world-famous Egyptian Museum. Even though many of its original artifacts have been moved to the all-new Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, it is still home to more than 250,000 ancient relics.
Enjoy a fascinating morning at the museum, and then we head to a good local restaurant in Cairo for some lunch. After lunch we visit the beautiful Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which is located in the historical Salah Din Citadel.
After visiting the mosque, we then head to the famous centuries-old Khan el Khalili Bazaar where you will have some time for shopping and/or exploring its many lanes and alleys.
When you have finished at the bazaar, you then head to a part of the city known as Coptic Cairo where we visit the famous Hanging Church of Cairo, the historical Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the beautiful Church of Abu Serga. This is the last stop of your Cairo city tour, so once you are finished at the church you are then driven back to your hotel.
