10-Day Epic Egypt Honeymoon Package

DAY 1 – Arrive in Cairo for Your Egypt Honeymoon Package Tour

On arrival at Cairo International Airport, your assigned tour manager and one of our drivers will be there to meet you. Once you have passed through passport control/immigration, you will then be transferred to your hotel in one of our deluxe air-conditioned vehicles. Your tour manager will assist you with check-in and then go through your itinerary with you. He or she will also confirm pick up times for your tours in Cairo.

There are no tours scheduled for the first day of our Egypt honeymoon packages. Instead, you will have the remainder of the day to yourself to enjoy as you wish.

DAY 2 – Giza Necropolis, Saqqara Necropolis and Dahshur Necropolis

The second day of our Egypt honeymoon packages in a private guided tour to three of Egypt’s most iconic ancient wonders. Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel and then you will head off to the ancient Giza necropolis to see the famous Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.

Following your pyramids tour you will both then be taken to a good local restaurant for some lunch. When you have finished eating you will drive to the ancient Saqqara necropolis to see the Step Pyramid of pharaoh Djozer. This was the first pyramid ever built by the ancient Egyptians.

From Saqqara, you then drive to site of the Dahshur necropolis where you will be shown the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid. After exploring this site, your guide and driver will then escort you back to your hotel

DAY 3 – Guided Cairo City Tour

Breakfast at your hotel and then at the confirmed time your tour manager and driver will arrive. You will then be driven to the famous Egyptian Museum in the heart of Cairo which will no doubt be one of the highlights of your tour. Once you are finished at the museum, you will head to the centuries-old Cairo Citadel where you will visit one of the city’s most famous mosques, the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque.

Lunch will be at a good local restaurant, after which you will make your way to a part of the city known as Coptic Cairo. Here you will visit the famous Hanging Church of Cairo, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga.

After your tour, you will then be escorted back to your hotel where you can enjoy a well-deserved break.

DAY 4 – Fly from Cairo to Luxor

Today you will check-out from your hotel in Cairo and then you will be flying to Luxor. Another one of our tour managers will meet you at Luxor Airport when you arrive and then you will be driven to the hotel where you will be staying for this night of your Egypt honeymoon package. You will again be assisted with check-in, and then you will have the rest of the day to yourselves.

DAY 5 – Nile Cruise Embarkation and East Bank Tour

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, and then at the confirmed time you will check-out and you will be driven to the port area where you will board your 5-star Nile River cruise. Enjoy your first lunch aboard the vessel and then one of our expert guides will take you for a tour on the East Bank. During this tour you will visit Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple which is Egypt’s second-most visited ancient site.

Following your tour, you will back to the cruise ship and then you will have the rest of the day for yourselves. Overnight on the water at Luxor.

NOTE: All tours during your cruise are small group tours.

DAY 6 – West Bank Tour and Cruise to Edfu

Breakfast served at the usual time and then your guide will be taking you for a tour on the West Bank. During this tour, you will visit the Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. The Valley of Kings is one of the biggest highlights of our Egypt honeymoon packages. This is in part due to the fact that the tomb of King Tutankhamun is located here, along with more than 60 other ancient tombs.

Lunch will be served back on the cruise ship after your tour and you will then start sailing to Edfu. There are no other tours today so you can spend the rest of the day relaxing together. Overnight aboard the ship at Edfu.

DAY 7 – Horus Temple and Kom Ombo Temple

Breakfast served aboard the ship at the usual time, and then your guide will take you to see Horus Temple at Edfu. This is the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt. You will also be sailing to Kom Ombo where you will enjoy another excursion. This time you will visit Kom Ombo Temple which was dedicated to two gods: Sobek & Haeroris. Once all passengers are back on board the ship, it will then sail to Aswan with afternoon tea served along the way. Dinner is served aboard the vessel at the usual time. Overnight on the water at Aswan.

DAY 8 – Aswan Sightseeing Tour

Breakfast is served aboard the ship at the usual time and then you will be taken to see 3 different Aswan tourist attractions. Today’s tour will begin with a visit to the Aswan High Dam. Enjoy spectacular views of the Nile River on one side and Lake Nasser on the other side.

From the dam, you will then visit the ancient stone quarries to see the massive Unfinished Obelisk. After this, you will make your way to the ancient Temple of Philae. This ancient temple was dedicated to two goddesses: Isis and Hathor. With your sightseeing tour now over, you will return to your cruise ship in time for lunch. There are no other tours scheduled for today. Enjoy the rest of the day as you wish and spend the final night of your cruise on the water in Aswan.

DAY 9 – Optional Day Trip to the Abu Simbel Temples

Breakfast served at the usual time, and then you will check-out from your cruise and disembark. One of our tour managers will then escort you to a hotel in Aswan where you will be staying for the last night of your honeymoon Nile adventure in Egypt.

There are no tours scheduled for today. However, you will have the option of enjoying a trip to the breathtaking rock-cut temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel. If you opt for this tour, you will be driven there in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The journey takes about three and a half hours in each direction.

The trip to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples is optional and is therefore not included in the original price of our Egypt honeymoon packages.

Fly Back to Cairo for Final Departure

Today you check-out from your hotel in Aswan. One of our managers and a driver will fetch you from your hotel at the confirmed time and take you to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. When you land in Cairo, your tour manager will meet you and then escort you to the International Departures Hall in time for your flight back home.
